Steve Heller was born in Northern California. Steve grew up in Van Nuys a suburb in Southern California. In his early years he created music to entertain his family and friends and performed a drum solo for his entire elementary school. His early music influences were the great bands of the 70s. Genesis, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Brian Ferry and the Police. He started playing guitar at 12 and changed over to Bass at 13. At 14 he played bass for the 50s band Ernie Impala and the Belair Boys. At 15 he was asked to be the bass player for the LeVasseur brothers. Steve also played Bass in the improvisational band and Stage band at his high school. In the late 70s Steve helped form the rock band Paradox and was their bass player for three years. The band featured Jeffery Steele of Nashville Star, Robert Kyle and Alan Schwartz. He went on to study at Dick Grove School of music and studied privately with Herb Mickman. Steve also recorded many tracks for Trump Malone. Steve went on to study film and video production in college and scored his own projects.
As a songwriter Steve completed his 1st solo project;
Hornet "Even the Bees" in 1994.
Bass Player/Song writer Steve Heller has written over 50 songs and has produced numerous soundtracks. His music crosses over into many musical genera�s. From Jazz, funk, rock and country. His lyrical powers emanate Social Situations from Politics to love.
Steve has always been an avid listener and critic of talk radio. Steve�s father was a radio DJ in the mid to late 50s. His influence on Steve and his edgy New York attitude has inspired Steve to produce his own talk radio show the Conservative-Liberal. His inspirations for creating his talk show are on the right; Rush Limbaugh, Bill O�Reilly, Michael Savage, Bill Maher, James Dobson and on the left Bill Press, Bill Maher and Michael Jackson. The show features his commentary on the state of the world and his music.
In addition to producing his own projects, Steve has created a line of motivational subliminal audio CDs and health products sold worldwide.
